We've all had the experience of having people talk to us and instantly deciding we like them or not. Of course there are a whole bunch of factors that make someone either likeable or not so.
A great way is to replace the words 'you' and 'me' which tend to create the sense of two entities, two worlds, replacing these with the word 'we' will create a more endeering tone to your communication. After all, we're not just talking about speaking, look at how this article was written with the use of we.
So dump the words 'I' and 'you' and plumb for the word 'we' instead.
