As 2012 comes to a close we often like to look back on what we have done and how that measures up to the high expectations we had of ourselves back in January.
I’d love to read about the best bits of your year and what 2012 has taught you. Before you go ahead and do that how about I go first and share with you what has happened to me?
The big plan for 2012 was to build my Joint Venture and outsourcing projects which consisted mainly of online businesses and partnering up with other people.
The vision was to help as many other people realise their goals by taking their knowledge and expertise in their particular areas and using my skills of human behaviour as well as marketing and online sales to build many satellite JV projects. This would result in me creating my first million pounds.
Sitting down 3 weeks ago after my monthly mastermind meeting I have with 3 other successful business people, I realised that this is not at all what I want. I don’t want to be managing a massive team, co-ordinating multiple projects, dealing with this level of business.
What I really want is to be performing, creating and entertaining people with my after dinner mind reading performances. This stuff is my true love.
So I spent 2012 learning many different things that I do not want to be doing, and this has focused me and re-ignited my burning passion for everything that I do want to be doing.
This means in 2013 there will be more shows, more media appearances more creativity and more Kennedy than I’ve ever worked on before.
I’ve now got an amazing new member in my team, and you’ve already begun to see the impact Tracy has had on such things as the Website and photography.
I also learned that my new favourite comedy movie is Hot Tub Time Machine, my favourite album is Tracy Chapman by Tracy Chapman and my favourite book is still to be discovered.
So what has 2012 taught you? What have you taken away from it? And what are your favourite things?
