I’m On Holiday…But Like No One Else

June 4th, 2012 by Kennedy

It was getting to a stage of all work and no play making Kennedy a tired mindreader. Being a full time corporate entertainer will do that to you.

So we’re on Kefalonia (one of the Greek islands) for a week. It’s total r&r and we’re loving it.

What Does It Mean For You?

If there is one thing I’m obsessed with more than anything else, it’s making sure that everything is taken care of.

So if you call or email my office this week while I’m away, you’ll still get an answer. Nicola, my assistant is still in the office handling all enquiries, the phones are getting answered and everything is working exactly the way they would if I was at home.

This is a great advantage I have by employing staff. I can be away from home, out of the country, whether that be working or on ‘vacation’ and you still get the amazing customer service you deserve.

Many entertainers I know employ members of their families, such as their wives and girlfriends to deal with their ‘office stuff’. What’s the fun in that? That means when they go on holiday together their customers are left with unanswered questions, calls not getting returned and without replies to emails.

To me, that doesn’t cut it and you deserve more when hiring an entertainer for your event. It’s important. That’s why I think I’m probably the only entertainer who employs 2 Personal Assistants. This week I’m on holiday with Lauren, and one of my assistants Angela is on holiday with her family. Nicola is handling calls, replying to emails, answering your questions and taking the bookings.

This is just one of the major differences when you hire a professional entertainer like myself. The phone always gets answered, emails replied to and there’s always someone here to help out.

Whoever you hire, save yourself a load of worry and ask how they have these things covered. Do they have staff on hand?

I hope this helps save you some headaches for events in the future.

Kennedy was very professional, really entertaining and completely different to what we have booked in the past in terms of an after dinner speaker and entertainment. The performance amazed the whole audience and really lifted the spirits in the entire room in time for our formal proceedings.I would definitely recommend Kennedy to anyone looking for corporate entertainment.

What a fantastic night’s entertainment Mind of Kennedy provided. Some of the stuff he did is still being talked about at our company days after! Make sure you book him for your corporate event; you won’t be disappointed!

(Feedback about our ruby wedding party last night) – Kennedy was absolutely fantastic. Not only did he work the room really well, and include people from different parts of the room, which is so important, but also he was an absolute delight to work with before, during and after the event... no trouble at all and completely accommodating. The act was tremendous and I love the idea that all our guests are sitting at home today over the Sunday papers, saying "how did he do that?!" I would have no hesitation in recommending Kennedy to anyone I know. Best wishes and thanks again to Kennedy for entertaining all our guests so well at our party. Jane & Pete Bradshaw

Great to see #lesmiserables today. Some of the best cast in a few years. Although I thought Javert was quite poor today. Brilliant show!

Quick #nandos before #LesMiserables matinee with @theroberttemple

What a night! Fantastic performances all round at #42ndstreet #london #theatre

So I went to the record shop and I said "What have you got by The Doors?" He said: "A bucket of sand and a fire blanket!" - Tim Vine
