Well apart from me thinking so, hundreds of couples over the past 10 years have relied on my skills to knock the socks off their guests by giving them some really unique wedding entertainment.
Weddings are the days you bring together two families to celebrate. But often the aunts and uncles from one side have never met the aquantance of the other. So there’s a lot of strangers in the room.
Strangers don’t make for a great evening wedding reception.
A potentially icy atmosphere in the evening can be avoided by having some kind of entertainment break the ice.
As I’m sure you can imagine, 30, 45 or even 60 minutes of my show performed right after the wedding breakfast in a way that involves everyone, gives every single person something in common and a reason to talk.
One minutes aunty Emily is sitting next to as stranger, next she turns to her and says “wow, how did he know what she was thinking?” then they’re exchanging phone numbers and playing online bingo together.
Seriously though, breaking the ice is vital, because it means for the evening reception you have a room full of people who have another thing in common to talk about and this means that making conversation and feeling happy is easier.
Having a really unique wedding entertainer also means that people will be talking about your particular wedding for a lot longer than all of the other ‘usual’ weddings. If yours is the one that has something different and memorable, then you can bet all the tea in China that it is yours people will love to tell their friends about for years.
And it’s pretty hard to forget it when they’re laughing hard and having their thoughts read in my show, believe me. That’s why so many lovely couples rely on me to entertain their wedding party, guests and family.
