They didn’t sink the cruise ship I was on, so back in the home-land now, although I can still feel the boat rocking.
The last 15 days have been full of gigs, performances and lectures both here in the UK, and aboard the Norwegian Spirit as it sailed around the Carribean.
In my time there I learned many entertaining things like the word “fanny” is a polite word for arse – in America. I feel like I’m the only person who didn’t know that, and so imagine how I felt when I was asked to put something in my “Fanny Pocket”.
Yes-sir-ee-bob, it was entertaining.
I managed to squeeze some socialising in between the hectic performance/lecture schedule (2 lectures and 2 performances over 2 days out of a 7-day cruise). This included eating real Mexican food and drinking Pina Coladas – because frankly why the hell not?
This week I’ll be in the big smoke, so if you’re around and see this entertainer in London do say “hi”, and I’ll also be heading back to the north east to pose as nice dinner party entertainment.
